How to add a ComicLife project to your webpage

Page history last edited by Nate Krulish 3 years, 1 month ago

Below are step-by-step directions on how to add a ComicLife project to your web page.

  1. When you are finished with your ComicLife, save it.
  2. Click on "File", then go down to "Export", then go over and click on "Export to Image(s)".
  3. Make sure you export this to your silver circle.
  4. Go to  the "Format:" box and make sure it says "JPEG"
  5. Click Export
  6. Go to your silver circle.  There should now be a folder that has your ComicLife work in it.
  7. Inside the folder you should see a file that says "Page_1" (if you have more than one page, you will see more "Pages").  YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF ANY FILE THAT SAYS "PAGE_1"!  To do that, simply click on that file one time, wait a second, than click on it again (NO DOUBLE CLICKS!).  Now you can type in your wiki name.
  8. Go to your web page.  Create a new page for this project and type a new purpose statement.
  9. When you are finished with the sentence about your project, hit return to go to a new line.
  10. On the right side of the web page, click on the "Images and files" tab.
  11. Click on "Upload files".
  12. Click once on the item(s) inside that folder which should be in your silver circle.
  13. Click "Select"
  14. The file will start uploading to PBwiki.  When it is done, you will see it pop up in the list.  Simply click on it and the file will appear in your web page.
  15. Your done!  Leave a comment at the bottom of this page to let us know if it worked!
