Welcome to Mrs. Curd's Kindergarten page. Here you will see information that is going on in our kindergarten class. Below are things we have learned for the month, dates to remember, classroom reminders, and my contact information. Updated: 9/3/2012

During September and October, we will be reviewing each letter of the alphabet. We will be learning the identification of each letter, the sound it makes, and read the letter book for each letter.

When reading the letter books, we are working on pointing to each word, looking at the pictures, and looking at the beginning sounds of the words. We have also begun learning sight words that are in our letter book.

In math, we have been practice one-to-one counting and number identification from 0-10. We also count forwards and backwards each day. We will work on number writing from 0-10.

Classroom Reminders

Please label all jackets, water bottles, backpacks, etc. with your students' name so we can return it if it gets misplaced!!
