Next week our country will remember the ten-year anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11. As a school district, this is an opportunity to demonstrate Mary’s Chesley’s direction of “Public schools are the best hope for our country and Cherry Creek needs to be the best example of that best hope.” This anniversary provides each of us, as well as students, a time of remembrance and an opportunity to honor the many first responders, military personnel, educators, mental health workers and citizens that stepped up that day and beyond. We encourage you to spend time discussing and commemorating this event with your family as you see fit. Attached are some resources for parents and caregivers we hope you will find helpful.
Thank you,
